What youth want to achieve isn't always straightforward?

Mentors can help by caringly listening to children's own stories of what they feel can be best for them!

Do you know a young person who could develop self-esteem and resliency through being  involved in various cultural and social activities?

Do you know children who could value extra guidance and companionship in their lives because of loneliness and family problems?

Do you know students who need a listening ear, regular encouragement and help with exploring alternative learning paths?

Do you know young people who need an effective role model in their lives to help them face challenges, make decisions and set personal goals?

Do you know youth who could benefit from "learning by doing" activities such as kapa haka, vegetable gardening, music, visual arts, creative dance, theatre sports and outdoor recreation, thus enriching their sense of personal creativity and hope?

We support youth mentors who promote children's young people's strengths, capacities and talents.

We organise regional workshops to enable youth mentors to set group goals, solve problems and make good choices.

We provide learning resources and newsletters to help youth mentors deliver services that are relevant, supportive & effective.
